Hello, I’m Toby Emelle, a creative media professional with a passion for visual storytelling. As the child of Nigerian immigrants from the Igbo tribe, I grew up with a deep respect for the value of education, which guided me through both private and public schooling. While my formal education led me to earn a bachelor's degree from William Paterson University in 2018, my heart was always set on the arts.During my college years, I discovered a profound love for creative media—music, film, and photography became my passions. Though my degree didn’t focus on these areas, it was clear that my future lay in exploring these artistic avenues. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 was a turning point. With the world at a standstill and the job market in turmoil, I seized the moment to redirect my energy into a field that truly excited me. I invested in professional-grade yet consumer level Sony cameras and embarked on a journey to turn my passion for visual media into a thriving career.Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including advertisements, music videos, interviews, short documentaries, weddings, event photography, portrait sessions, and even fashion/editorial shoots. Each project is a testament to my commitment to capturing stories and moments with creativity and precision. From a young Nigerian college student to a dedicated freelancer and volunteer in the creative media world, my journey is driven by a relentless passion for visual storytelling. I’m always excited to collaborate and explore new creative opportunities that push the boundaries of media and design.Let’s connect and explore how we can create something extraordinary together.
